Senior Frontend Developer – Remote (Chile)

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join its Financial Services Operations (FSO) Technology team. The role is fully remote within Chile and focuses on delivering high‑quality web applications for EY’s financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design scalable frontend solutions.
• Develop, integrate, test and deploy distributed web applications using modern frameworks.
• Ensure reliability, performance and excellent user experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engagement teams following agile methodologies.
• Consume RESTful APIs, handle JSON data and adhere to OWASP security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Residency in Chile.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, SASS (BEM), Bootstrap 3, Material Design.
• AngularJS, Angular 12+ and Redux (NgRx).
• RxJS, Singleton services, Factory pattern.
• Node.js (v8+), Express 4, local storage.
• RESTful API consumption, JSON handling, Postman.
• Web security fundamentals (OWASP).
• Experience with React, Next.js, Electron, React Native or Vue.js.
• Version control using Git (Bitbucket).
