Senior Project Manager – Battery Energy Storage

About the role

Fluence is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of battery energy storage projects across Latin America. The role partners closely with customers, internal engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery phase of battery storage projects from contract execution through handover to operations.
• Coordinate internal and external contributors, including EPCs, equipment suppliers, and contractors.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, sales, senior management, and partners to meet full life‑cycle deliverables.
• Document and communicate project plans, changes, and improvements to the battery storage team.
• Achieve financial performance targets and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
• Transfer completed projects to the Fluence Service organization.
• Support sales and business development during tendering and contracting.

Required profile

• Project Management accredited qualification with more than 10 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a matrixed, global environment.
• Team‑spirited attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
