Senior QA Engineer – End‑to‑End Test Automation

About the role

We are looking for a senior QA Engineer to own end‑to‑end quality for our cross‑border payments platform. You will design test automation, lead test‑estate modernization and ensure that code moving money reaches production safely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain integration test harnesses and contract tests for money‑movement flows and partner APIs.
• Lead the automation framework that gates code into production across onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX and settlement.
• Define the balance between manual and automated testing, write test cases and drive automation with Playwright or equivalent.
• Own CI/CD quality strategy, release‑blocking signals, flaky‑test triage and production incident investigations.
• Mentor mid‑level QA engineers and influence test‑architecture decisions across domains.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years of production test‑automation experience, preferably in payments or regulated industries.
• Proven technical leadership in setting test architecture, reviewing test code and making quality decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or C# for test automation.
• SQL and relational‑database knowledge for test data validation.
• API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
• UI automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
• Performance/load testing tools (k6, JMeter).
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and AI test‑generation tools.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
