Service Engineer

About the role

As a Service Engineer you will join Tetra Pak’s Customer Service Operations team, working on‑site at food processing and packaging facilities in southern Chile. You will ensure that critical production lines run reliably, supporting uninterrupted food supply for millions of consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites (up to 85% of the time) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installations and troubleshooting.
• Analyse technical issues, follow standard operating procedures and escalate when necessary.
• Train operators on equipment use and best practices to improve production efficiency.
• Monitor service contracts, contribute to business development and ensure compliance with safety and food‑quality standards.
• Represent Tetra Pak professionally and suggest improvements for customer operations.

Required profile

• Up to 3 years of experience in maintenance, service or installation roles.
• Education in industrial systems, automation or process engineering.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 85 % of the time.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.
• Proactive, customer‑first mindset.
