Service Operations Manager – LATAM Wind Farms

About the role

The Service Operations Manager will lead end‑to‑end service delivery for wind farms in Chile and Peru, ensuring high turbine availability, performance, and safety. Reporting to Service Operations LATAM, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, manage field teams, and drive continuous improvement across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service operations for wind farms in Chile and Peru, meeting turbine availability and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with service contracts, SLA commitments, and HSE standards.
• Serve as escalation point for critical turbine failures and major incidents.
• Lead and develop field service teams (technicians, supervisors, planners) with a focus on safety and technical excellence.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
• Control financial performance of contracts, including revenue, cost, margins, and forecasting.
• Maintain strong relationships with asset owners and operators as a trusted partner.
• Manage spare parts strategy, logistics, and resource planning to minimise downtime.
• Monitor fleet performance and implement improvement actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical support to resolve complex issues and support contract renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in operations, maintenance or service delivery within wind energy or heavy industry (power generation, utilities, mining, oil & gas).
• Proven track record managing field service teams and service contracts.
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, contract margins).
• Solid HSE background with a focus on zero‑harm objectives.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel to wind farms as required.
