Social Media Lead for Crypto Trading Platform

About the role

We’re seeking a chronically online Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro’s social channels. You will craft scroll‑stopping, platform‑native content for X, Telegram and other channels, ensuring the brand’s voice resonates with serious traders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create platform‑native content that captures attention and maximizes reach for Kraken Pro.
• Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly produce timely, on‑brand posts.
• Engage actively with the community – reply, quote, poll, meme, and foster meaningful conversations.
• Maintain an always‑on content calendar: draft, route for approvals, schedule, publish and monitor performance.
• Translate product and ecosystem updates into clear, compelling narratives.
• Track growth metrics, run experiments and iterate based on insights.
• Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure compliant, accurate messaging across regions.

Required profile

• Portfolio of successful social posts (brand accounts or personal) – results matter more than employer name.
• 3+ years in social or content roles, preferably in fintech, crypto or trading.
• Ability to move quickly under pressure while thinking long‑term.
• High AI competency to amplify impact and keep up with demand.
• Versatile creator: copy, memes, short‑form video, charts, threads – no design queue needed.
• Good judgment on when to post and when to hold back.
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills.
• Creative, detail‑oriented; able to brief designers, use Figma or produce quick videos with CapCut.
