Software Engineer – Full‑Stack AI‑Driven Claims Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and ship full‑stack features for Vega’s AI‑native claims platform. You will work closely with internal teams and customers, own the end‑to‑end delivery of features, and explore how large language models can automate manual insurance workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch full‑stack features across the claims platform (frontend, API, data).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to understand problems, scope solutions and ship fixes.
• Identify opportunities for LLM‑driven automation and implement them.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and raise code‑quality standards.
• Participate in AI‑assisted development workflow, including code reviews and CI.

Required profile

• Self‑directed professional who thrives in an autonomous, fast‑moving startup environment.
• Curious about LLM applications and able to spot automation opportunities.
• At least 3 years of production web‑application experience with full‑stack depth.
• Comfortable owning features end‑to‑end in cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
• Strong testing instincts and ability to ship reliably without heavy process.
