Sourcing Lead - SCM

About the role

The Sourcing Lead – SCM will strengthen supply chain resilience by proactively identifying supplier‑related risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure continuity, quality and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification and assessment of supplier risks impacting continuity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Provide leadership using data‑driven resilience metrics, mitigation updates and market intelligence to prioritize critical risks.
• Develop and implement sourcing risk mitigation plans, including multi‑sourcing, supplier diversification and contingency strategies.
• Partner with Operations, Quality and Planning to reinforce supply‑chain resilience.
• Monitor supplier risk exposure through KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead risk reviews and drive corrective actions to improve supplier continuity.
• Serve as the focal point for supplier risk management and resiliency initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional actions for supplier onboarding and disruption management.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing, risk‑management and business‑continuity policies.
• Execute monthly safety inspections in coordination with the EHS coordinator.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing or risk management.
• Proven experience in supplier risk assessment and business continuity planning.
• Strong background in procurement and supply‑chain operations.
• Project‑management expertise with a process‑ and systems‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in ambiguous situations.

Required skills

• Risk assessment and scenario planning.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, AS400, Outlook and SAP.
• Data analysis and reporting using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain risk‑management frameworks and business continuity planning.
• Proficient English communication.
