Technical Architect - Specialist

About the role

Equifax is seeking a Technical Architect to significantly contribute to identifying best‑fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will collaborate with top industry talent to create and implement innovative, high‑quality solutions focused on customers’ business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead moderately large or complex projects and ensure successful application rollouts.
• Determine and develop recommended architectural approaches and document current systems.
• Serve as the technical architecture expert for software development and infrastructure teams.
• Assist project teams in estimating architecture design effort and in developing, reviewing, and approving designs.
• Advise teams on the application of standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Communicate and validate architecture with technology and business executive stakeholders.
• Apply broad technical knowledge across multiple specialized fields to solve critical design issues.

Required profile

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years developing/administrating software in the public cloud and 5+ years overall relevant experience.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure and application uptime to meet performance objectives.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Cross‑functional knowledge of systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Experience with OSS frameworks, microservice implementation styles, and message‑driven development (pub‑sub, Kafka).
• Strong skills in CI/CD tooling, analytical troubleshooting, and cloud certifications (preferred).
