About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Field Service Technician to join RedHome ST. The position is primarily remote, but you will travel to customer sites to perform on‑site technical service, routine and corrective maintenance, and repairs on residential or commercial equipment and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute field visits, diagnose equipment issues, and carry out troubleshooting and repairs.
• Document all service activities, work orders and reports in a clear and timely manner.
• Communicate with customers to explain service needs, provide status updates and confirm satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all on‑site work.
• Collaborate with the internal support team to resolve complex technical problems.
• Follow up proactively to verify service completion and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field service, including on‑site visits, service reporting and time management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedules and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Required skills

• Maintenance and repair of residential or commercial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards, tools and equipment used in field service.
• Familiarity with digital tools for work orders, reporting and remote collaboration.
