Telephone Operator – Homecare Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a professional Telephone Operator to join our Homecare Healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver a positive, courteous experience to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals while managing a high volume of calls.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist patients, caregivers, employees, and healthcare providers with general inquiries.
• Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Direct calls to the appropriate departments, such as Coordination, Intake, HR, and Management.
• Handle urgent or sensitive calls calmly, following company procedures.
• Maintain accurate call records and documentation while upholding patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Professional and friendly phone manner.
• Excellent listening, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Previous experience in homecare, healthcare, medical office, call center, or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare terminology is a plus.
