Thermoforming Technical Document & Data Control Specialist – PDM/ERP

About the role

This position owns the controlled engineering documentation and ERP master data for heavy‑gauge thermoforming programs, ensuring that all specifications, BOMs, routings and work order packets are accurate and released before production. The specialist supports the plant during normal business hours and participates in daily production cadence to minimise downtime caused by documentation errors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise and release SolidWorks drawings, layouts and specifications; maintain EPDM/PDM records, metadata and revision history.
• Manage redlines, legacy drawing cleanup and quick‑turn edits to support urgent production needs.
• Create and maintain NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, work instructions and packaging instructions.
• Ensure BOM and inventory hygiene so work orders reflect all required components.
• Administer the Engineering Change Request/Order (ECR/ECO) process end‑to‑end, including routing approvals, tracking progress and documenting closure.
• Handle deviations, classify them correctly, obtain approvals and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate work‑order refreshes and re‑prints when ERP data changes, keeping the shop floor aligned with the latest approved packets.

Required profile

• Experience in a production environment supporting thermoforming or similar heavy‑gauge manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 document control and traceability requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to plant queries and participate in production launch meetings.
