Tooling Facility Supervisor

About the role

The Tooling Facility Supervisor II leads the operations of a medium‑to‑large tooling facility, ensuring that tooling is ready, calibrated, and available for field service teams. The role combines technical oversight, employee management, and compliance with EHS and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall tooling inventory, prepare kits for jobs, and maintain accurate data in the tooling management system.
• Coordinate tool testing, calibration, and repairs with local vendors, tracking status and documentation.
• Oversee shipping logistics, working with the Tooling Logistic Coordinator to schedule deliveries and collections.
• Maintain consumables stock and supervise daily tooling maintenance activities.
• Create procurement requests, collaborate with the Sourcing team, and negotiate service contracts.
• Monitor and improve ETM processes, and support training initiatives at the facility.
• Handle HR matters, safety compliance via Gensuite Action Tracking, and assist with external audits.
• Report damaged, missing, or unserviceable tools and communicate daily operations with the Facility Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a team of coordinators or similar staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tooling requests and deadlines.
• Familiarity with EHS directives, QMS procedures, and audit support.
• Ability to work closely with logistics, procurement, and calibration vendors.
