Training Consultant – Business Improvement & Integration

About the role

Immersive Technologies is seeking a full‑time Training Consultant to join its Santiago team. You will use advanced mining simulators to deliver targeted training that boosts operator safety, productivity and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client training needs and design customized simulator‑based programs.
• Configure, run and coach operators and supervisors during simulation sessions.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and propose improvement actions.
• Collaborate with site management to integrate simulation into existing training and operational processes.
• Document outcomes, prepare reports and deliver clear recommendations.
• Coordinate with global technical and support teams to ensure seamless customer service.
• Contribute to best‑practice development and continuous improvement of training methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workforce training, facilitation or adult education, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Background in business improvement, operational excellence or technology integration.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Comfort with simulation or technical training systems and quick learning of new tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site at mining operations and travel occasionally.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, mining, training, business or related field) is highly regarded.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and collaborative problem solving.
