Transport Center Planner

About the role

The Transport Center Planner provides first‑line support for daily transport activities, ensuring smooth workflows and high service standards across internal departments and external partners. This role balances operational execution with continuous improvement, handling everything from scheduling to claims resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for transport operations, coordinating delivery scheduling, transport planning, cross‑dock activities, and stakeholder communications.
• Manage end‑to‑end claims processes, handle transport documentation, and work with external partners to resolve discrepancies and recover funds.
• Identify inefficiencies, support process‑improvement projects, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor and maintain operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and prepare daily/weekly reports on on‑time performance, VAT, and inventory balances.
• Administer transport management systems, ensure accurate data entry, perform system maintenance, and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to juggle multiple tasks.
• Experience in transport operations, planning, claims management, and system administration.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to identify, address, and escalate operational issues.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and contribute to data‑driven decision‑making.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
