Vendedor Ranchero

About the role

Espalsa is looking for a motivated Vendedor Ranchero to join its sales team in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The role involves visiting existing and potential customers on a defined route, promoting the company’s product portfolio, and driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct frequent visits to current and prospective clients within the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell Espalsa’s range of consumer‑goods, food, beverage and high‑volume products.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop potential customers.
• Maintain and strengthen commercial relationships with clients.
• Follow up on orders, client needs, and payment collections when required.
• Track sales activities, update client information and report on opportunities.
• Plan and adhere to a regular route schedule and visit frequency.
• Represent the company professionally with appropriate personal presentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales, route sales or wholesale sales, preferably in mass‑consumer, distribution, food, beverage or similar high‑volume sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and meet commercial targets.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel regularly and visit clients frequently.
• Result‑oriented, able to work independently and meet sales goals.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with technology tools for recording and tracking sales activities.
