Vice President – Local Currency Credit

About the role
Patria is seeking a Vice President to lead its Local Currency credit activities. The role is based in the office and involves regular travel to engage with Latin American companies and the broader financial community.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor industries and credits, develop financial models (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and maintain databases for covered companies.
- Prepare investment cases and quarterly results for presentation to the Investment Committee.
- Analyze bond issuances, corporate events, and potential restructurings, and communicate impacts to portfolio managers.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts with Latin American firms and the regional/international financial community.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in the financial industry with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong knowledge of Latin American markets, financial products, and valuation techniques.
- Fluent English and high analytical, detail‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Financial modeling (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Database and programming language proficiency.
