Direct Shipment Officer – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Chile is seeking a highly organized Direct Shipment Officer to act as the central hub between the airline’s main base and its global repair network. Based on-site in Santiago, you will manage the end‑to‑end flow of aircraft components, ensuring timely delivery and strict compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment of components from the airline’s base to repair stations, working closely with designated freight forwarders.
• Perform visual inspections of components and packaging, validate removal reasons, and verify technical documentation such as Post Flight Reports and Unserviceable tags.
• Maintain accurate records in the Information System, updating aircraft configurations and component histories to achieve 100% data alignment with the customer.
• Serve as the strategic interface between the airline and Airbus teams in Toulouse, Brazil, and the USA.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives by applying Practical Problem Solving (PPS) locally and identifying gaps in the “unserviceable loop” performance.

Required profile
