Full-Time Pre-Op & PACU Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in a full‑time capacity, providing pre‑operative and post‑anesthesia care. The RN will deliver high‑quality patient care, support the Surgery Partners mission, and ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Provide post‑anesthesia care in the PACU, monitoring vital signs and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document all nursing activities accurately and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about postoperative care and discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience, or a motivated new graduate willing to be trained.
