MSK Physiotherapist – NHS Fife (Band 5)

About the role

The NHS Fife Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service is seeking HCPC‑registered or soon‑to‑be registered physiotherapists to join a diverse clinical team across Fife. You will work with a varied caseload that includes orthopaedic post‑operative patients, Minor Injuries Unit and Emergency Department referrals, as well as longer‑term rehabilitation cases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver MSK physiotherapy assessments and treatments for post‑operative orthopaedic patients.
• Provide care for referrals from the Minor Injuries Unit and Emergency Department.
• Manage longer‑term rehabilitation programmes for patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
• Participate in acute service roles, primary‑care placements and service development projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals, social care and third‑sector partners.

Required profile

• HCPC registration (or pending registration) as a physiotherapist.
• Strong motivation to develop a career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel across the Fife area as service needs dictate.
• Commitment to continuous learning and contribution to team initiatives.
