MSK Physiotherapist – NHS Fife

About the role

The NHS Fife Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service is seeking HCPC‑registered or soon‑to‑be registered physiotherapists to join a dynamic team across the Fife region. You will work with a varied caseload that includes orthopaedic post‑operative patients, Minor Injuries Unit and Emergency Department referrals, as well as longer‑term rehabilitation cases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality MSK physiotherapy to acute, primary and community settings.
• Manage post‑operative orthopaedic patients and support Minor Injuries Unit and ED referrals.
• Participate in education, research, clinical leadership and service development initiatives.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals, social care partners and third‑sector organisations.
• Travel between service bases in hospitals, GP practices and community venues as required.

Required profile

• HCPC registration (or pending registration) as a physiotherapist.
• Motivation to develop within MSK physiotherapy and pursue career pathways up to Band 7/8.
• Willingness to work flexibly across multiple sites in Fife.
• Commitment to continuous learning and team contribution.
