Android Software Engineer – Build Agentic AI Platform

About the role

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to help create a brand‑new Agentic AI platform that lives on wearable devices. You will work directly with the CEO and a small, high‑trust engineering team to shape both a standard Android mobile app and a custom Android build for wearables.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a feature‑parity Android mobile app that mirrors our existing iOS experience.
• Build and maintain an AOSP‑based client for wearable hardware, handling the application layer on a constrained form factor.
• Define the interaction model for an always‑on AI on wearables, where traditional UI elements are absent.
• Architect the platform to transition smoothly from AOSP to an RTOS as the hardware evolves.
• Collaborate across locations (Silicon Valley, Paris, China) and use AI‑assisted development tools as part of daily workflow.

Required profile

• Passionate about low‑level platform work and wearable technology.
• Comfortable making foundational design decisions without existing conventions.
• Excited by the challenge of moving from Android to RTOS.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional, multi‑regional teams.

Required skills

• Android development (AOSP)
• Experience with wearable hardware platforms
• Understanding of RTOS concepts
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Copilot
