AWS DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation

About the role

We are seeking an AWS‑focused DevOps Engineer who can independently own priorities and collaborate with distributed teams. You will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure while automating delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage AWS infrastructure across multiple projects.
• Utilise AWS services such as IAM, RDS, ALB/NLB, API Gateway, CloudFront, ECR, ECS on Fargate, CloudWatch, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Certificate Manager and S3.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules.
• Integrate Terraform into CI/CD workflows with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
• Manage source control with Azure DevOps/Git and create reusable pipeline templates.
• Write automation scripts in Bash or PowerShell.
• Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Prioritise tasks autonomously and provide DevOps best‑practice guidance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience in AWS environments.
• Proven expertise with Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency (B2+).
