Business Development Manager

About the role

RPMGlobal is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to expand its footprint in the mining sector across Chile and Latin America. The role is based in Las Condes, Santiago and focuses on acquiring new customers, winning new logos and positioning RPMGlobal’s software and advisory solutions as the preferred choice for mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities with mining companies, contractors, consultants and owner‑operators.
• Develop and execute territory and market penetration plans to increase market share.
• Build a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events and targeted outreach.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospect identification to contract negotiation and closure.
• Create compelling business cases that demonstrate operational and financial value.
• Represent RPMGlobal at conferences, exhibitions and professional networking forums.
• Maintain awareness of new mining projects, capital investments and industry developments that could generate sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven track record in enterprise software sales, business development or technology solutions within mining or other capital‑intensive industries.
• Self‑starter who thrives on opening new doors, building pipelines and closing complex deals.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Chile and Latin America.
• Strong ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across executive, operational, technical and procurement functions.
