Country Manager

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Country Manager to define and execute the local strategy in line with regional and global objectives. The role will lead cross‑functional initiatives across marketing, product, and customer experience while overseeing P&L responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a local digital strategy aligned with regional and global goals.
• Drive growth through market insights, KPI optimization, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Lead cross‑functional execution across marketing, product, and operations.
• Own P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage local and regional stakeholders, building high‑performing teams.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with high autonomy in decision‑making.
• Deep understanding of the local market and industry trends.
• 7+ years of experience in money‑transfer, payment disbursement, or cross‑border payments.
• Proven knowledge of UAF, CMF, SII regulations and remittance compliance.
• Experience negotiating directly with banks and key stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in regional or multi‑market environments.
• Advanced English (required); knowledge of the Chilean market is a plus.
