About the role

As a Data Engineer specializing in Azure Databricks, you will design and maintain scalable data architecture within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem. You will act as a link between raw data sources and actionable insights, ensuring that ingestion pipelines and storage systems are optimized for high‑performance analytics and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for large‑scale ingestion and transformation using Azure Databricks.
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes to convert raw data into structured formats for downstream consumption.
• Build and manage data lakehouse architectures, ensuring data consistency and reliability across storage layers.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to define data requirements and develop models supporting complex business queries.
• Monitor pipeline performance and proactively troubleshoot bottlenecks to ensure platform stability.
• Apply data governance and quality controls to maintain high standards of data integrity and security in Azure.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise building data pipelines and ingestion systems on Azure Databricks.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data transformation, cleaning, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of Azure‑native services and cloud data architecture.
• Hands‑on experience supporting analytics and reporting workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
