DevOps Engineer – Observability & Kubernetes (Azure Stack)

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain and evolve production Kubernetes‑based systems for a leading technology company that supports AI research. The role focuses on observability, monitoring, and SQL production support within an Azure Stack environment, ensuring high reliability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and improve observability solutions, including dashboards and visual reports using Grafana or similar tools.
• Implement and manage metrics, SLIs, SLOs, and alerting to guarantee system reliability.
• Provide business‑hours operational support for Kubernetes production environments, including troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Assist with SQL‑based production support, handling query troubleshooting and performance diagnostics.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and contribute to post‑incident reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, and research teams to raise observability standards and strengthen system stability.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge‑sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in SRE, DevOps, or production support.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes in production settings.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting SQL databases in a production environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in distributed, cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient English (B2+ level or higher).
