Estimator – Roofing Projects (US & Canada)

About the role

VCM is seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator to support roofing projects across the United States and Canada. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity take‑offs, and coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and clients to deliver competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new construction, replacement, repair and maintenance roofing projects.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and unit price analysis for residential and commercial projects.
• Build and maintain pricing databases for materials and suppliers.
• Develop and update estimation templates, SOPs and order sheets.
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers and contractors to validate scope, pricing and warranties.
• Analyse project drawings, plans and technical specifications.
• Support bidding processes for multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in estimating or construction (roofing experience is a strong plus).
• Strong experience in quantity take‑offs and cost analysis.
• Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Experience with US or international construction projects and stakeholder coordination.
