Freelance Material Scientist (Python) – AI Trainer

About the role

This is a project‑based freelance position where you will design and validate material engineering problems for AI training platforms. You will work remotely, creating computationally intensive tasks that require Python programming and numerical methods.

Key responsibilities

• Design original material engineering problems that simulate real‑world workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks that involve calculations, simulations, and iterative solutions.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and use numerical methods or optimization techniques.
• Base problem statements on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Material Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in material engineering.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
