Head of Financial Control / Controller

About the Role

Join a global leader in industrial innovation. As the Head of Financial Control for our Thermal Ceramics division in Chile, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency within a highly specialized industrial environment.

Main Missions

• Provide periodic financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet) and perform detailed variance analysis against budgets.
• Supervise the preparation of financial statements and lead internal and external audit processes.
• Drive the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles.
• Coordinate all financial activities, including taxation, credit management, collections, and payments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance, administration, and supply chain teams.
• Manage cash flow, procurement, and inventory control to optimize working capital.
• Ensure full compliance with legal, fiscal, and social regulations.
• Optimize internal control procedures and manage institutional relationships with banks and insurance providers.
• Act as a strategic partner to the senior management team.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in financial controlling or a similar management role, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams (Finance, Admin, Supply Chain).
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure strict compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
