IT Project Specialist – Puerto Montt

About the role

Roche is looking for an IT Project Specialist to lead and support IT projects that involve hardware, software, and infrastructure in Puerto Montt. You will act as the local technical reference, ensuring high‑quality service delivery to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute IT projects related to system installation, integration and upgrades, meeting scope, schedule and quality targets.
• Provide second‑level technical support, resolve complex incidents, perform advanced configurations and integrate instruments with host systems.
• Deliver technical training, keep systems up‑to‑date and ensure compliance with corporate training programs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, contribute technical input for proposals, tenders and risk assessments.
• Monitor, maintain and document IT systems to guarantee continuous operation and adherence to SLAs and compliance policies.

Required profile

• University or technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of handling hazardous substances is a plus.
