Logistics & Product Compliance Manager – LATAM

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics & Product Compliance Manager to lead compliance initiatives for spare‑parts logistics across Latin America. The role supports Tesla’s EMEA Supply Management Team by ensuring export and product conformity requirements are met throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct continuous research on local regulations and industry standards to keep Tesla compliant.
• Support market entry activities and embed compliance in EMEA distribution operations.
• Coordinate export licensing, license applications, waivers, commodity classifications and maintain related documentation.
• Manage country‑specific logistics and customs documentation for sea, air and road shipments.
• Maintain a repository of compliance information per country or customer and monitor shipments for process adherence.
• Collaborate with certification bodies (SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, TuV) for license renewal.
• Work with Master Data team to ensure accurate Country of Origin data across Logistics, Trade, Distribution and Material Planning.
• Develop and deliver internal training, audits and updates to Parts Homologation procedures.
• Review ERP, WMS and TMS systems for compliance gaps and resolve issues with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive or logistics compliance programs.
• In‑depth knowledge of LATAM and global product conformity and homologation directives.
• Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
• Proven track record navigating import compliance and export licensing processes in LATAM.
