Logistics Specialist

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support multiple infrastructure projects by managing technical and commercial logistics activities. The role focuses on coordinating domestic and international multi‑leg shipments, ensuring safe, timely, and cost‑effective delivery of goods that meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute domestic and international multi‑leg shipments in line with project requirements.
• Prepare logistics reports and performance metrics for project information needs.
• Identify transport cost and service alternatives to support purchasing decisions.
• Develop commercial bid tabs, commitment authorizations, and contract documents for Logistics Service Providers.
• Conduct logistics studies, including site visits and Logistics Service Provider facility assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience.
• 8‑10 years of relevant logistics experience (or 12‑14 years without a degree).
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, foreign trade, national logistics, and import/export procedures.
• Proven ability to make decisions and manage multiple tasks in a project environment.
