Mobility Specialist

About the role

Remote’s Mobility team helps employees move across borders smoothly while staying compliant with local laws. As a Mobility Specialist you will support immigration and relocation processes, improve compliance workflows, and work closely with vendors to ensure seamless transitions for a globally distributed workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and strategic guidance on immigration matters for employees and clients.
• Coordinate relocation logistics and vendor relationships to ensure efficient moves.
• Develop and refine processes for remote‑work and business‑travel compliance.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners about mobility policies.
• Support the onboarding of new international hires and manage ongoing mobility cases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of immigration procedures and compliance requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and maintain composure under pressure.
• Experience in the technology sector or a rapidly scaling company is highly desirable.
• Customer‑facing experience with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English (additional languages are a plus) and a keen interest in expanding knowledge of global immigration laws.
• Experience working remotely and asynchronously with minimal oversight is an advantage.
