Nurse Practitioner – Casualty & Outpatient

About the role

This permanent position is based at Cowal Community Hospital, primarily within the Casualty department, with flexible opportunities across outpatient services. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care while managing an adaptable workload.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and treatment in Casualty and Outpatient settings.
• Work flexibly across the hospital to meet patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service improvement.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with relevant postgraduate qualifications.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Appropriate clinical experience for the role.
• Willingness to develop further education, such as an Unscheduled Care Practitioner certificate or Nurse Practitioner qualification.
