Operations Excellence Engineer

About the role

Greif is seeking an Operations Excellence Engineer to support its global packaging manufacturing sites. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, process efficiency, and troubleshooting across production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on projects, including electrical power and control initiatives.
• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze tooling failures and evaluate tool characteristics and requirements.
• Coordinate and perform periodic operational diagnostics.
• Provide technical support to enhance equipment and process reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of industrial instrumentation, electrical systems, manufacturing processes, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong project‑management understanding and ability to work collaboratively.
• Detail‑oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
