Plant Integration Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

The Plant Integration Engineer (Electrical) will support the development of a next‑generation energy project in Chile. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure the design, coordination, and delivery of critical electrical plant systems while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate engineering and design collaboration across multidisciplinary plant‑system teams.
• Provide technical oversight of electrical system designs from functional requirements through final design.
• Coordinate design handoffs, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain electrical deliverables such as procurement specifications, requirement documents, system descriptions, calculations, diagrams, and change packages.
• Evaluate electrical systems against classification requirements, industry standards, codes, licensing, and regulatory expectations.
• Integrate electrical scope with mechanical, nuclear, instrumentation, and control disciplines.
• Support regulatory communications, licensing activities, and safety analysis documentation.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and technical problem‑solving to keep project schedules on track.

Required profile

• Experienced electrical engineer with a proven track record in complex industrial projects.
• Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external subject‑matter experts.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for technical oversight and documentation.
