Quality Specialist III

About the role

Fluor is seeking a Quality Specialist III to apply advanced quality principles across a variety of government‑contracted projects. The role supports project teams by ensuring compliance with Quality policies, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate Quality policies and procedures to project and department personnel.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, discipline activity plans, and audit reports, documenting non‑conformances and verifying corrective actions.
• Support Project Managers in developing orientation programs that cover the Project Quality Plan.
• Act as a Quality auditor, follow up on audit findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Assess supplier capability to meet project Quality requirements when directed.
• Maintain comprehensive Quality records throughout all project phases.
• Perform other Quality‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Accredited four‑year degree (or global equivalent) in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience (or nine years without a degree).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with management, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

• Auditor certification (e.g., ASQ, RAB) – preferred.
