Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic Outpatients

About the role

The NHS Lanarkshire team is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Orthopaedic Outpatients service. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate individual care programmes for orthopaedic outpatients.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Apply and adhere to national and local policies, legislation and clinical protocols.
• Supervise and demonstrate procedures to registered, unregistered staff and student nurses as required.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Post‑registration experience in orthopaedic nursing.
• Strong team‑working abilities and the capacity to work independently.
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
