Remote Software Engineer (AI Code Evaluation)

About the role

We are seeking experienced software engineers in Latin America to help evaluate and improve code generated by artificial intelligence. The role is fully remote, paid in USD, and offers a flexible schedule that lets you work as much or as little as you prefer.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated code snippets for accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
• Provide ground‑truth solutions to coding problems for model training.
• Refactor code to enhance performance and scalability.
• Write robust test cases to verify code behavior.
• Document code logic and explain why chosen solutions are optimal, all in clear English.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Professional proficiency in written and reading English.
• Strong understanding of computer‑science fundamentals.
• Ability to critique and describe code logic in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (optional).

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
• Experience with code review and documentation.
• Ability to write and execute test cases.
• Familiarity with refactoring and performance optimization techniques.
