Sales Engineer – PV & Energy Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our photovoltaic, inverter and lithium‑battery solutions in Chile. The role combines technical knowledge with customer‑facing activities, requiring frequent travel to installation sites and local markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new integrators and regional small distributors from scratch, leveraging an existing list of potential clients.
• Coordinate logistics, manage after‑sales returns and exchanges, and resolve unexpected issues on site.
• Travel regularly to installation locations, hardware stores and energy‑trading markets across Chile.
• Maintain a fast‑paced work rhythm aligned with a Chinese parent company while ensuring high‑quality service for local customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the photovoltaic, inverter or lithium‑battery industry.
• Familiarity with the Chilean market distribution channels.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with distributors and integrators.
• Willingness to travel frequently and handle after‑sales situations with patience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for customer management.
• Effective use of LinkedIn and other social media for customer acquisition.
• Ability to create and deliver basic presentations.
