Sales Strategy Analyst

About the role

The Sales Strategy Analyst will work closely with supermarket channel clients in Chile, supporting the Key Account Manager (KAM) and the account‑responsible KARs. The role focuses on demand planning, forecast alignment, and ensuring product availability to meet service level targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the KAM of supermarkets and collaborate with KARs to manage account needs.
• Develop and maintain the CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) process with supermarket clients.
• Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and inventory data to recommend aligned purchase orders.
• Participate in client meetings to review forecasts, adjust inventory, propose purchase orders, and ensure availability targets.
• Monitor and report on key metrics such as fill rate, sales growth, and inventory coverage, providing actionable insights.
• Assist the KAM/KAR team on commercial initiatives and special projects to drive growth in the supermarket channel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, demand planning, supply chain, or commercial administration, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Experience with supermarket accounts is a plus.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of supermarket/retail dynamics within consumer goods.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data analysis tools.
