Senior Finance Accountant – US GAAP for Cybersecurity & SaaS (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Accountant to own the month‑end close and financial reporting for US‑based cybersecurity and IT SaaS clients. You will work remotely as an embedded member of US finance teams, partnering directly with founders, Controllers and CFOs in fast‑growing technology businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full month‑end close under US GAAP, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity for SaaS and subscription‑based structures.
• Support deferred revenue tracking, ARR reporting and subscription billing reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for US stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis and highlight key movements in results.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and organized financial records.
• Drive accounting process improvements and standardize workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong US GAAP foundation.
• Background in cybersecurity, IT SaaS or technology services is a strong plus.
• Experience with deferred revenue, subscription accounting or recurring revenue models.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or equivalents.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Availability to overlap with US time zones.
