Senior Medical Practitioner – Inland South West

About the role

Step into a rewarding and dynamic position as a Senior Medical Practitioner serving the inland communities of South West Western Australia. You will deliver comprehensive medical care across a wide scope of practice while supporting junior staff and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and training to junior doctors and clinical staff.
• Manage emergency and acute presentations, general ward care, aged care, rehabilitation and palliative care.
• Utilise regional resources including the Bunbury Resource Centre, state‑wide transport, telehealth, mental health, maternity and obstetric services.
• Engage with the communities of Harvey, Collie, Donnybrook, Bridgetown, Manjimup (Warren) and Nannup to ensure patient‑centred care.

Required profile

• Eligible for General and/or Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM, or working towards it.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine or willingness to upskill in this area.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
