Join a leading mining operation in Nicaragua for a high-impact international assignment. As an Onsite Laboratory Manager, you will spearhead laboratory operations within a gold processing facility, ensuring excellence in analytical precision and operational efficiency in a dynamic expat environment.

Missions principales

• Direct all laboratory operations to ensure full compliance with contractual, operational, and safety requirements.
• Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focusing on turnaround times, analytical quality, safety standards, and cost control.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and technical equipment maintenance.
• Ensure strict adherence to OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) and QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) protocols.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Coordinate closely with HQ HR and administrative services to align local operations with global standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships through transparent reporting and high-quality service delivery.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience in laboratory management, preferably within the mining or extractive industry.
• Strong leadership background with experience in managing diverse, multicultural teams in remote locations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and optimize operational costs.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.
• Willingness to relocate to Nicaragua for a long-term expat mission.

Competences requises

• Expertise in QA/QC and analytical laboratory methodologies.
• Deep understanding of OHSE/HSE safety regulations in industrial environments.
