Senior Sales Engineer – Remote (Santiago, Chile)

About the role

Gigamon is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join its regional sales team, supporting customers from Santiago, Chile on a remote basis. The role combines deep technical expertise in networking and security with pre‑sales activities, acting as a trusted advisor for enterprise accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support across the full Gigamon product and solutions portfolio.
• Deliver in‑depth technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners, and at industry events.
• Design network monitoring and visibility architectures for enterprise customers.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts and product evaluations from design through successful completion.
• Mentor clients, partners, and internal teams on technology and competitive trends.
• Serve as the primary conduit between field and corporate teams for technical issues and product feedback.
• Support account and partner management activities in collaboration with Sales and Channel teams.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 3–7 years of experience as a sales or pre‑sales engineer in networking, security, or cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with networking platforms, virtualization, cloud and containerization technologies.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners and distributors.
