Software QA Automation Engineer

About the role

ADvendio is looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer to join its QA team. You will help maintain and improve the quality of a Salesforce‑native advertising platform used by retailers, media agencies, and broadcasters worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for new and existing features.
• Own both manual and automated testing processes, document results, and track defects in JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce bugs, verify fixes, and communicate findings.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies, providing a QA perspective.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing for complex or newly introduced functionality.
• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to identify potential issues early.
• Support release cycles with regression testing and final build validation.
• Stay current with QA trends and contribute ideas to improve team efficiency and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in test automation and result analysis.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well in a team.
• Proactive attitude with a positive mindset.

Required skills

• Testim (or similar test‑automation tools such as Tricentis Testim).
• JIRA for defect tracking.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Technical documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce‑based applications (preferred).
