Specialist Clinical Pharmacist – Digital & Information (12‑month fixed term)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position places you at the heart of digital innovation within NHS Fife, leading the implementation of the Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) system across our hospital sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of the HEPMA system across NHS Fife hospital sites.
• Embed HEPMA into clinical practice, supporting pharmacy and multidisciplinary staff through the change.
• Provide on‑call and rota coverage, adjusting commitments during implementation phases.
• Collaborate with the Digital & Information Pharmacy Team and wider clinical teams to ensure safe, efficient medicines use.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with experience in acute or community hospital settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage change.
• Strong foundation in clinical pharmacy practice.
• Good interpersonal and project‑management skills.
