Technical Procurement Buyer – Strategic Sourcing

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Procurement Buyer to join our team in Chile. You will be responsible for securing the timely and cost‑effective supply of materials, aligning procurement actions with our Category Strategy and supporting long‑term operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the procurement strategy for the assigned category in line with group objectives.
• Develop and monitor the budget and medium‑term plan for the category.
• Manage procurement activities such as price‑list maintenance, quote allocation, and purchase order processing.
• Scout new vendors, conduct market analyses, and provide regular updates to management.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, ensure competition, and evaluate offers to select optimal solutions.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, handling claims and ensuring continuity.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure supplier compliance with sustainability standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
