Technical Project Manager – Industrial Software

About the role

We are seeking a senior Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of AI‑powered industrial software for manufacturers across the USA and Latin America. This remote, customer‑facing position will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, local partners, and plant operations to deliver optimized production solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of industrial software implementation projects in multiple regions.
• Act as the primary customer contact, aligning communication between client teams, partners, and internal engineers.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocations and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Data Science, Customer Success and external partners.
• Manage several concurrent projects while ensuring scope, schedule, quality and customer expectations are met.
• Monitor progress through status meetings, reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, blockers and dependencies.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including work plans, schedules, meeting minutes and risk logs.
• Organise on‑site activities at manufacturing plants to support implementation and governance.
• Contribute to regional delivery capability growth by sharing best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mining, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial projects, preferably involving software, automation, process control or digital transformation.
• Proven experience delivering projects in manufacturing or process sectors such as cement, chemicals, refining, mining, pulp & paper, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate international, multidisciplinary and remote technical teams.
• Strong customer‑facing project management experience with a track record of building trusted stakeholder relationships.
